3 for Thursday: Your 3 Favorite Holiday Movies

(Well, you probably saw this one coming, didn’t you?)

I loved hearing about favorite Christmas songs so much, I thought I’d ask about your favorite holiday movies, too! Old or new — I’d love to hear them!

I think I can guess Superman’s, but I’ll see what he says. …

  1. This is actually hard because there are movies and cartoons! Of course all the old cartoons that we watched growing up (Rudolph, Santa Claus is coming to Town…) bring back great memories both from when I was young and when we kids were little – but….
    1 – A Christmas Story ( Who doesn’t like that movie)
2 – Eight Crazy Nights (Cartoon movie – Adam Sandler is so funny!)
3 -It’s a Wonderful Life – I just love the message it brings, even after all these years even if it does seem a little corny now!
I can’t wait to see what others say, maybe Home Alone or Four Christmas’ or some of the newer ones???!!

  2. 1-Miracle on 34th Street (the one with Natalie Wood)

    2-It’s a Wonderful Life

3- The Holiday (with Cameron Diaz & Kate Winslet)

  3. 1 – A Christmas Story
    2 – A Charlie Brown Christmas
    3 – Its a Wonderful Life

Had to have 1 cartoon in there as it comes close to A Christmas Story.

    Merry Christmas!!!!

  4. Hey “M” I must admit that I like that “Holiday” one as well. And, I’m not even ashamed to say it!! Laurie actually got me to watch it last year and I really liked it! Oh I also liked “The Family Stone”

  5. That’s funny – because I was hesitant to make that my #3 choice, but I really like it!! And besides, I’m only know as “M” on here 🙂 Oh ya – I like “The Family Stone” too! That’s a good one…

  6. I loved The Holiday also, didn’t even think of that one as a Christmas movie, but duh! I don’t think I ever saw the Family Stone, I will have to check it out!

  7. Yes, these are some of mine, too.

    I love:

    a) It’s a Wonderful Life

    b) A Christmas Story

    c) Elf

But I like The Holiday, too. And actually I love When Harry Met Sally, which has that Christmas scene, so close enough for me! 🙂

I haven’t seen Miracle on 34th Street yet (the original), so I might add that to my list next year!
