So excited that LOVE ON LAVENDER ISLAND is launching today!
Here’s the blurb:
What’s worse than Paige Grant getting stuck in a window while breaking into her late grandmother’s Lavender Island ranch? Being discovered—and saved—by next-door neighbor Adam Mason. The Grants and Masons haven’t exactly been friendly in recent decades, despite Paige’s teenage crush on handsome, standoffish Adam. But the down-on-her-luck actress now needs more than saving: she wants to use part of Adam’s property to pull off a dramatic wedding for her idol, screen legend Dorothy Silver, in exchange for a movie role that could make her dreams come true.
Adam has been struggling with emotional and financial burdens inherited from the recent death of his father. Yet he reluctantly agrees to help Paige prepare the ranch for the wedding. As they continue to spend time together, sparks fly. But Paige is troubled by a secret that could ruin any hopes they have for a future together. When fire destroys the land that holds the key to both their dreams—and the secrets they carry make tensions run even hotter—can love rise from the ashes on Lavender Island?

Oh boy…first crush? Probably Nick K. in elementary school. I crushed on him all through college, I think! He’s happily married with 4 kiddos in Ohio and I’m happily married with my 2 kiddos in California. I think life worked out well for us, even though my crush never materialized!
Carrie´s last blog post ..TWO YEARS OLD!
I occasionally see my first crush and I can assure you there’s nothing left of the crush!
Gosh, this is a hard question. Being my age and trying to remember back that long, LOL. There is only one that keeps coming up in my mind, and I’m sure he wasn’t my first crush by any means. His name was Glen. I had seen him playing mini golf. He was older than I was by a few years so I thought he was the cat’s meow, when I think about it boy he made my heart beat so hard. I would love to see him, I know he joined the coast guard and ended up in Alaska. Any more than that, I have no clue. But I am married for almost 30 years now, 2 boys and grand kids, and happy. So I am thinking I am where I am suppose to be. I hope he is happy too. Everyone deserves their special someone.
My first crush was in 7th grade. He became a Navy Top Gun pilot and then a college professor. Would love to talk about where life has taken us since high school graduation, families, interests and hobbies..
My first crush was in kindergarten, Bruce was his name. I haven’t seen him in over 50 years so I wouldn’t know him if he were right beside me.
It would have been Mark S. In middle school. We even went to high school together as well. Upon graduation I continued to live in OC and he went onto seminary classes to become a catholic priest. I must have seen the writing on the wall early on!
Not really
My first crush was Donny Osmond. I cut out his pictures from the teen magazines and would cover my walls with them. When I was 10 years old. My Mom took me to see him at Angel Stadium and she said I cried the whole time. I even wore my purple socks. I remember Donny flying in on a purple hang gluider like it was yesturday.
My first creak crush was Mark in high school. He was our paper boy back when papers were delivered in the evening. We were last house to be delivered and if I timed it right I was out waiting for him! He was my first date…we saw Paint Your Wagon. I think it just fizzled out. I connected with his brother on Facebook while working on uOur hs reunion. I slyly asked if hroher was Mark and he said “Yes, you were his girlfriend!” He is happily married and still cute after all these years.
Happy Release Day!!!
This book is AWESOME!! Laugh Out Loud funny, with lots of intrigue and love. I could not put it down!
First crush, hmm, probably Ethan in 5th grade. He was boy taller than me and he always asked me for paper and pencils.
If I saw him today, well I guess I would ask if he needs a piece of paper or pencil 🙂
My copy will be here today!! So excited
Definitely do. Since I still live in the same area I grew up in, I’m actually still acquaintances with him. Haven’t seen him in years, but still friends.
My first crush was the boy that lived next door to us growing up. We are both married with kids now and my crush on him was over before high school.
I would say Hi and ask how he is doing.
My first crush was my Dad! My Mom had to tell me he was already taken and I had to look for my own guy. In third grade I feel madly in like with Christopher C. I chased him on the playground and held him down and kissed him. I know a little aggressive huh. My teacher explained that a nice young lady doesn’t behave like that. I was never so embarrassed. After awhile he started liking me and I was completely over him. I was a military brat so my chances of ever seeing him again are pretty slim. I have a great man now, for 35 years, and wouldn’t trade him for anyone. May we live happily ever after….. The End 🙂
Going back to kindergarten, he was my best buddy. Life happened and he had to move out from our little town and I have never seen him again. If we meet again, I”ll say Hi and see how that freckled boy turned out in life.
My first crush was a guy that was older than me when I was in high school. My mother didn’t like him, she didn’t like his family. I’d love to see him again.
Wow first crush….. probably Mark back in high school haven’t seen him since graduation 11 years ago tomarrow, wait the story gets better our moms where good friends back in the day and apparently we went to pre school together and i never wanted to be within a 10 ft radius of that kid! wow is this embarrassing to remember.
