Here’s where we toasted our 20th anniversary — at the Top of the Mark in San Francisco!

(We spent our 15th anniversary toasting each other in Manhattan, so this milestone was celebrated in another great city.)

The views were gorgeous, the company was superb, and we were able to toast to 20 great years of being married, being best friends, and being in love.

… and then start planning our 25th!

(Hmmm … what city should we see then?)

  1. Wow, 20 years – and that’s only counting the married years together! Congratulations!! Maybe you should come to Seattle for the 25th and toast on top of the Space Needle – I only live about 30 miles away 🙂 Happy Anniversary!!

  2. Thanks, Debi! And yeah, you’re right — counting the dating years, it’s actually 29 years together. Crazy.

Anyway, toasting on top of the Space Needle is a VERY good idea! We’ve actually always wanted to go to Seattle, and we could continue our “heights” theme, too. : ) Okay, I’ll add that to the list. …

  3. I loved our trip and am very much looking forward to MANY more “Top Toasts” with the best wife ever!

  5. Congratulations to both of you!
Isn’t married life grand?! And to think, I was dragging my feet to jump into such a wonderful union with my best friend! Thank goodness Christopher was there to direct me down the right path. I guess he knows what a great relationship looks like since he is in a great one too.
I will be toasting to both of you for your 25th!

  6. WOW! I love it. Congratulations to you both. This year will be eight years for us. I cannot wait to have a TWENTY!

    Awesome photos too, btw.

  7. Debbie C. — Thanks so much. I think you hit the nail on the head, Debbie, when you said “with my best friend” — I think that’s the key to everything. You have to be the closest of friends (as well as in love). The attraction gets things rolling, but the friendship keeps things rolling smoothly. 🙂 Thank you. And I’m glad Chris gave you good advice!

Crystal — Thanks for the congrats! And eight years is quite a lot to celebrate, too. I’m so happy for you and your hubby. 🙂
