Thanks for the list Laurie! I have only read a couple of the ones you listed, but now I have a bunch to look forward to. I am gong strong with Jenny Crusie right now, I really like her. I also recently read a couple of Janet Evanovich which were cute, she writes with co authors a lot and they have a little mystery mixed in. Marian Keyes is still one of my favorites though...she is so funny!

Crystal -- If you like a lot of humor in your novels, you'll just LOVE the Chicago Stars series! I can reread those again and again.

And I'm glad you mentioned the "in Death" series by J.D. Robb -- that's another set I've been meaning to jump into. It seems everyone loves those.

So which is the Linda Howard book that is your favorite book ever???

I read several of those authors, but somehow have missed every single one of these, except for two.

MacKenzie’s Mountain by Linda Howard -- I didn't even make it half way through this, which shocked me b/c I absolutely adore Linda Howard. She is author to my most favorite book ever.
Naked in Death by J.D. Robb -- I love the entire series.

THE CHICAGO STARS BOOKS -- Here I go again, another series. I'm starting this next.

Hi, KristiBug!

Thanks for the scribing luck! : /

I have read PARADISE (with Meredith and Matt, right) and WHITNEY, MY LOVE. I felt so-so about PARADISE. (I find I get distracted in any contemporaries that go into office work and board meetings ... too like real life for me, and I find myself checking out.) But I absolutely adored WHITNEY!!! I would read that one again. (Probably will!)

Also, I'm glad you mentioned Julia Quinn, because no, I haven't read any of her, but many people seem to love her, so she'll be on my list next. She was in a short story book with Suzanne Enoch, which I read because I went to high school with Suzanne. (Saw Suzanne E speaking at an author's event at the Placentia Library, in fact, with some of our old high school teachers in the audience! I know you live in that area. Too bad I didn't know you then -- would have been fun to meet you there.) Anyway, back to Quinn -- thanks for the tip. I'll definitely start with THE DUKE AND I.

Good luck on the scribing! Ugh!

Have you read Paradise or Whitney My Love by Judith McNaught? YOU HAVE TOO.

Also, I saw you didn't have any Julia Quinn in red. Julia Quinn is a MUST READ. Start off with her Bridgerton series, the Duke and I is first.
